Formscan By Gary Carson - JON SNOW won the preceding race on this card last season in facile fashion and can get off the mark over fences now. The French-bred gelding shaped with plenty of promise when third to Enniskerry in a strong contest at Galway on his chase debut and is entitled to come forward from that run. It's interesting that Willie Mullins sends him right up in trip now to two-miles-seven. Alfa Mix looks an obvious danger after a big run to finish second at Galway behind a stablemate of the selection, Rambranlt'jac. He had Oscar Academy and Fakiera in behind in third and fourth that day and may be able to confirm that form now.
