The Califet gelding had shaped with promise on his debut when chasing home Shanbally Kid at Clonmel back in April and on that showing he'd be the one to beat. Gordon Elliott saddles three and Wisteria Bloom is probably the main danger. She bumped into a smart looking sort when second to Hermine on her debut at Kilbeggan and is entitled to step forward with that experience under her belt. Battle Of Mirbat ran a big race at a massive price in Cork at the start of the month and if he can repeat that he'd be a big player.
