Formscan By Gary Carson - ARVERNE bounced back to winning ways at Kilbeggan last month and may be able to strike again after that confidence boosting win. The French-bred gelding had dropped a long way in the handicap before his win last time and won with a bit in hand after making the running. He stays further, so going back up in trip isn't a concern, and there may be another race in him at this level. Gelee Blanche improved in the jumping department with racing last season and was a winner at Downpatrick when last seen in October. She has to be respected on her return to action off an attractive mark. Rule Of June won last week at Tramore and off a 7lb higher mark is another that has to come into calculations.
