Formscan By Donal Murphy - FIL THE POWER might be able to take this wide-open contest. A decent performer on the level, he ran a fine race to finish sixth of 20 on his handicap debut at Punchestown recently. He steps-up in trip now to 2m 4f for the first time and it's worth noting that he is entered again at Tramore on Friday and Kilbeggan on Sunday. The Grey Lad gets second preference, with Gary Noonan taking a valuable 7lb off. He was cruelly denied on his handicap debut at Naas in March, when the subject of plenty of market support. He since finished a respectable eighth in a 24-runner contest at Fairyhouse over Easter and takes a drop-in class now. Sweet Will has won two of his last three and is sure to have plenty of supporters, while recent winners Kingfisher Lane and Deo Bellator warrant respect. Miss Polly Shelby put in a career best performance when a well-beaten fifth on the level at Roscommon recently and market support for her would be significant.
