Formscan  - Jet Black (third) finished behind Pergola (second) at Windsor in August, but she had a troubled passage and remains of interest. The latter was far too keen at Yarmouth subsequently but is more than capable, although the same can be said for CLOAKS OF GOLD. The Cracksman filly showed ability when trained by Richard Hannon, but flattered to deceive on her handicap bow at Pontefract. It is possible the track didn't play to her strengths, though, and a return to this venue could suit.
