Raised 12lb for a runaway success at the County Meath track, the Paul Flynn-trained gelding is turned out quickly carrying a mandatory 7lb penalty. Provided this race doesn't come too soon, the six-year-old son of Mayson should take all the beating. Nancee Spain, who finished runner-up at Thurles on Thursday, is also backed up again relatively swiftly. Having finished second on her previous start over this course and distance, the Calyx filly rates a definite threat. Bellewstown winner Idomything could be open to more improvement on what is only her third start for trainer Tom Cleary.
