Having just his second start for Terence O'Brien, the gelding made all the running to win comfortably. Unable to back that up on his return to that same track next time, he had excuses on his most recent visit to the Tipperary venue. While the jury is out on the Hillstar gelding at this stage, it is far too soon to write him off. This tight track should really suit his prominent style of racing, so he gets the vote. Downpatrick runner-up Our Zebo has to be a contender, although he may prefer more of a stamina test. I See Fog could run into the frame.
