Formscan By Tom Weekes - SPANCIL HILL might prove best in an open handicap. His form can be hit-and-miss but he has shown flashes of useful form and while raised 7lbs for his recent hurdles win, is still rated 15lbs below his chase rating with another 7lbs claimer taking the ride today. Wood Emery is himself 9lbs higher than when winning on handicap debut at Punchestown last month and could be capable of some more improvement. Ballymadun is similarly progressive and is already a course and distance winner. He has been raised 7lbs for his recent distance win at Fairyhouse and is another with obvious claims under his useful 7lbs claimer. Glenabo Bridge was behind the selection latest but has solid place claims again today while back Bar has been running well and drops in grade for this following a solid run at Naas last month. %0A
