The French import was thrown in the deep end by current connections last spring when third in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown before landing the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Mark Walsh’s mount has the physique to do well over fences and gets the vote over Tullyhill. The point-to-point winner impressed when scoring twice over hurdles last season before finding Grade 1 company too hot. Asian Master also won twice over hurdles and was a creditable fourth in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham, while Western Fold and Theatre Native appear the pick of the remainder.
