FormscanBy Mark Nunan - It’s a little surprising that MOONEISTA has only won three of her 18 races but one of those victories came in this Group 2 last year and she might be able to go back to back. Her Greenlands Stakes second in May was further proof of how well she goes at the Curragh and she had Equilateral, luckless at Sandown since, a place behind when a creditable fourth in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot. The returning Castle Star’s half-length second to Perfect Power in the Middle Park is an eyecatching formline but he can miss a beat at the start and 6f might be a better trip for him. Brostaigh has been a rapid improver this term and, after relegating Geocentric to third at Naas, she won at this level at Chantilly last month. This looks a stronger race but further progress is possible. New York City had his limitations exposed by the subsequently disappointing Twilight Jet at Naas and is now tried in blinkers.
