It's a bit disappointing that the son of Getaway is still searching for a breakthrough win after seven attempts but he certainly wasn't far away when getting within a length of Flawless Escape at the Leopardstown Christmas festival. Any horse could be forgiven for performing under-par at Thurles on January 21st given the ground conditions and Jetez was a bit more like himself since back at Leopardstown on March 9th when fourth behind subsequent Grade Two scorer Pallasator. A drop in trip, a break and better ground could all be to Jetez's good now.
