Formscan By Alan Magee - Henry de Bromhead has won this race three times in the past four years including with smart point-to-point winner Inthepocket 12 months ago and is represented here by LOOK TO THE WEST The Westerner mare has a similar background having easily beat subsequent maiden hurdle winner Fortunefavorsdbold at Dromahane last year and is an interesting recruit to the track. Clodders Dream indicated ability in five hurdle outings last season including when fourth to Tactical Move in a 22-runner maiden at Punchestown. Meritorious won a 1m4f Newmarket handicap for John Gosden but has failed to add to that tally in the intervening two years although he did show some promise when third in a Punchestown maiden hurdle last winter. Rick Dalton has plenty of placed form on the Flat while Marciano and Monsieur Azul are others to note.
