Formscan By Tom Weekes - This race is confined to maidens and MOONLIGHT GETAWAY was gambled on when finishing second in a distance handicap hurdle in January and again ran well over fences subsequently. A lightly-raced eight-year-old, he is 5lb higher than at Punchestown but the third-placed horse won subsequently while the Thurles winner scored again afterwards. Ex-flat Junot has done well recently and while he is a 12-race maiden, is well suited by conditions and represents an in-form yard. Shana Cloon has been running well but competes from a career high mark while Depeche Mo has useful handicap form but would returns from a winter's break and would probably prefer better ground. Imbolc ran well at Limerick recently but drops slightly in distance while Tingarren Express ran well at Clonmel and steps back up in distance.
