Formscan By Alan Magee - FIVE O’CLOCK was backed as if defeat was out of the question when sent off a 1/4 shot on his Irish debut at Tramore last month but his supporters got their fingers burned as Ferocious proved over a length too good. A lot of the Mullins team have needed their first run this season and perhaps the five-year-old can now go one better with that outing under his belt. Email Rose would have solid claims on his second to the useful Alfa Mix at Tramore in October. However, he hasn’t progressed in three subsequent starts and perhaps a greater threat may be posed by Ennemi Public. He was a creditable third to Notice To Close on his penultimate run at Clonmel but needs to bounce back after being soundly beaten here at Christmas.
