Formscan By Gary Carson - SLIP JIG could be nicely treated on her handicap debut off a mark of 102. The Flemensfirth mare won a maiden hurdle at Tipperary when last seen in May and the form of that race has worked out well enough. She improved a nice bit from her hurdling debut to win that day and there looks scope for further improvement on just her fifth career outing. Stormalong has been running very consistently and just lost out in a tight three-way finish at Listowel last week. She went up 3lb for that effort but should be a big player again. Lucky Viv gained a deserved win at Ballinrobe last time and is another for the shortlist.
