Formscan  - Russian Ruler finished a creditable third at Newbury on his return to action and remains capable of better, although preference is for HYMAC. Harry Fry's six-year-old failed to justify favouritism on his Ffos Las comeback, but he should take a marked step forward on his second start following wind surgery. Saint Davy landed a bumper at Carlisle in October and makes obvious appeal on his hurdling bow, as does State Of Power, who struck between the flags in Ireland.
