Permission was given for Second Collection (GB) to go to post early to post, wearing a red hood and for both Suanni (GB) and WE’RE REUINITED (IRE) to wear red hoods to post.
Leaving the stalls, Posh Maisie (IRE), unplaced, jumped right-handed giving a bump to WE’RE REUNITED (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight, involving Suanni (GB), placed third, ridden by Liam Wright and Bankrupt (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joey Haynes.
Wright was cautioned for careless riding as he shifted left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing the rider of Bankrupt (IRE) to take a slight check.
On the run to the line, the winner, My Turn Now (IRE), hung left-handed before being quickly corrected by the rider, causing Global Effort (IRE), placed fourth, to be slightly short of room between My Turn Now (IRE) and Suanni (GB), placed third, and further causing Kipp Kelly (GB), placed fifth, to move left- handed off the heels of Global Effort, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of My Turn Now (IRE).
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Kipp Kelly (GB), placed fifth, was slowly away from the stalls; Rob Hornby reported that We're Reunited (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference leaving the stalls and Grace McEntee reported that Global Effort (IRE), placed fourth, suffered interference on the run to the line.
