An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 2 furlongs out involving ARLECCHINO’S REX, unplaced, ridden by David Probert; Inconspicuous (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Darragh Keenan and Makes Me Wonder (GB), unplaced, ridden by Hayley Turner.
The interference was found to be accidental as Probert had improved his position into a tight but legitimate gap between Makes Me Wonder (GB) and a weakening Inconspicuous (IRE) which had hung right-handed, before Makes Me Wonder (GB) then edged slightly right-handed at the same time as Inconspicuous (IRE) shifted left-handed resulting in ARLECCHINO’S REX being hampered when tightened for racing room.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside 2 furlongs out involving ARLECCHINO’S REX, unplaced, ridden by David Probert and Rogue Endeavour (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Cieren Fallon.
Fallon was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had angled his mount right-handed off the bend when insufficiently clear of ARLECCHINO’S REX, causing Probert to take a significant check on his mount.
