An enquiry was held to consider the placings following an objection from Marco Ghiani, the rider of Witness Stand (GB), placed second, to the winner, Holguin (GB), ridden by Faleh Bughenaim on the grounds of receiving a bump from the winner on the run to the line.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, after which it was found that no interference had taken place, and therefore, the stewards ordered that the placings remain unaltered.
