The Stewards noted that approximately 6 furlongs out, the rider of Noble Champion (IRE) felt something amiss and eased the colt out of the running which resulted in the free-running Intrusively (GB), unplaced, having to be eased of its heels.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Noble Champion (IRE), which was pulled up, was lame on its right-hind.
