An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Germanic (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ryan Sexton interfered with Akkadian Thunder (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert and Sergeant Wilko (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Oisin Murphy.
The interference was found to be accidental as Germanic (IRE) drifted left-handed whilst being corrected causing Akkadian Thunder (GB) to be shifted left-handed and Sergeant Wilko (IRE) to take a check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Strike Red (IRE), placed second, ridden by Billy Garritty interfered with Rousing Encore (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by James Sullivan, Germanic (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ryan Sexton and Akkadian Thunder (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert.
Garritty was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed, firstly taking Rousing Encore (IRE) off its intended line, he then continued to drift left- handed, taking Germanic (IRE) slightly off its intended line, and causing Akkadian Thunder (GB) to take a check.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Sergeant Wilko (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference inside the final furlong, David Probert reported that Akkadian Thunder (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong, and Jack Doughty reported that Havana Pusey (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
