Kenahope (FR), trained by Olly Murphy, did not enter the Parade Ring due to difficulty fitting the filly’s noseband.
The winner, The Trader (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run over hurdles at Southwell on 27 September 2022 where the gelding was pulled up.
Sam England’s representative explained that The Trader (IRE) had come back into form on the Flat where the gelding has run four times since its last hurdles run and appeared to transfer that improvement when back over hurdles.
His explanation was noted and The Trader (IRE) was routine tested.
