THE ITS LADIES' DAY ON 4TH JUNE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) Permission was given for Without Flaw (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute.
The Starter reported that Shavkat (GB) refused to enter stalls and was withdrawn at 5:08pm.
Hilal Kobeissi was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving True Promise (GB), placed second, ridden by Daniel Tudhope, Without Flaw (IRE), placed third ridden by Kieran O'Neill and Ingleby Archie (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jack Garritty.
Tudhope was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift-left handed, when insufficiently clear, resulting in O'Neill to take a check and Garritty to be momentarily inconvenienced.
