An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving, the winner, Azure Zain (FR), ridden by Warren Fentiman and Daring Legend (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tyler Heard.
Fentiman was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he manoeuvred his mount sharply left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Daring Legend (GB) to be taken off its intended line and the rider to ease his mount off heels for a number of strides.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving, the winner, Azure Zain (FR), ridden by Warren Fentiman and Thunderous Love (GB), unplaced, ridden by Rob Hornby.
Fentiman was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he switched right-handed into an insufficient gap, taking Thunderous Love (GB) off its intended line and being placed awkwardly on the heels of Juan Les Pins (GB), placed second, which resulted in Hornby having to take a check.
The winner, Azure Zain (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Southwell on 11 February 2026, where the gelding finished eleventh of eleven runners, beaten by 9 lengths.
The representative of Richard & Peter Fahey could provide no explanation for the performance of the gelding.
Azure Zain (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Neyva's Angel (GB), placed fourth, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
