The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr D.L. Queally, rider of Carrigmoornaspruce, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. D.L. Queally accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. D.L. Queally was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his clean record they suspended him for two racedays
Miss A.B. O'Connor, rider of Royal Hillsborough, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jumped the road and ran off the bend and was pulled up
