An enquiry was held following a report from the Starters that the race was late off due to Royal Dress (IRE) arriving late at the start.
The trainer, James Tate and the rider, Ben Coen were interviewed.
Tate explained that the filly had misbehaved in the parade ring and taken an extra circuit, which had not been intended.
He further added that due to Royal Dress (IRE) misbehaving he had advised his rider to proceed to the start carefully.
The Stewards noted his explanation and advised the trainer that if he is concerned about the behaviour of the filly in the future, he should consider taking Royal Dress (IRE) early to the start.
Following the race, Owen Burrows reported that Nakheel (FR), unplaced, stopped quickly.
