Permission was given for Another Abbot (IRE) to go early to post, wearing a red hood.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving the winner, Another Abbot (IRE), ridden by Cieren Fallon and Dashing Dick (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jack Mitchell.
Fallon was cautioned for careless riding, as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, taking Dashing Dick (IRE) off its intended line.
The performance of I Maximus (GB), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
