The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving The First Turn, ridden by Mr D. Doyle, placed first, and Lennon Grove, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, placed second, where it appeared Lennon Grove hung left and bumped The First Term. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
Mr D. O'Connor, rider of Lennon Grove, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was green in the latter stages

Hurdles) that are EBF eligible and which had been purchased as an unraced three or four year old at Public Auction under the hammer in Ireland or Great Britain for #30,000 or less at a recognised National Hunt Store Sale and that have not been purchased at Public Auction under the hammer in Ireland or Great Britain for any more than #30,000 at any time Weights - 4-y-o 11st 13lbs 5-y-o and up 12st. Mares allowed 7lbs. Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. (The first sale as an unraced three or four yrs old to govern the price if sold more than once).
