An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately a 1 ½ furlongs involving Ravensbourne (GB), unplaced, ridden by Mason Paetel, Enpassant (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jonny Peate and Sprinter (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Darragh Keenan.
Being a 7lb claimer, Paetel was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Paetel was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed Ravensbourne (GB) to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear, moving Enpassant (IRE) off its intended line which in turn caused the rider of Sprinter (IRE) to take a check.
Following the race, Gina Mangan reported that Flying Star (IRE), placed fifth, was very slowly away and hung right-handed.
