Approaching half a furlong out, Thanks Dad (GB), unplaced, lugged slightly left-handed causing the rider of Forever Noah (GB), unplaced, to take a precautionary check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend involving, Bold Suitor (GB), placed second, ridden by Georgia Dobie, Petra Celera (IRE), placed third, ridden by Joanna Mason and Cheese The One (GB), unplaced, ridden by Faye McManoman.
Dobie was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she shifted left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear, tightening Mason for room, which resulted in McManoman checking her mount, thereby losing her position on the rail.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Petra Celera (IRE), placed third, suffered interference rounding the first bend and Georgia Dobie reported that Bold Suitor (GB), placed second, hung left-handed and ran too free.
