The winner, Roaring Ralph (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Thirsk on 16 August 2024 where the gelding finished ninth of eleven runners, beaten by 10¾ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Michael Dods could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Roaring Ralph (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, James Sullivan reported that Touchwood (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away.
