An enquiry was held to consider interference 2 ½ furlongs out, involving Dryburgh (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Egan and Conjecture (GB), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris.
Egan was suspended for 4 days for improper riding as he attempted to move right-handed for clear running when racing upsides Morris, resulting in the pair making contact and Conjecture (GB) becoming briefly unbalanced after having its quarters turned.
Following the race, David Egan reported that Dryburgh (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
