The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run into the first bend involving Aqua Bear, ridden by Adam Caffrey, Askalon (GER), ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, Fresh Fade, ridden by L.F. Roche, Zheleznaya Dama (USA), ridden by L.T. McAteer, and Alkutonic, ridden by C.D. Hayes where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.F. Roche stated that he had to check off heels on the run into the first bend. Adam Caffrey stated that he was carried wide by horses on his inside. L.T. McAteer stated that he received a bump from his inside at the first bend. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount did not take the first bend very well despite his best efforts. D. Browne McMonagle stated that the horse inside him was running around causing his mount to shift left slightly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
Adam Caffrey, rider of Aqua Bear, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried off the first bend
L.F. Roche, rider of Fresh Fade, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference after half a furlong
G.M. Ryan, rider of Conquering Marin, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green throughout
L.T. McAteer, rider of Zheleznaya Dama (USA), trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bad bump at the first bend
C.D. Hayes, rider of Alkutonic, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not round the first bend well.
