The winner, Emerald Army (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Redcar 20 July 2025, where the gelding finished fifth of eight runners, beaten 7 ½ lengths.
It was noted that Declan Carroll could offer no explanation for the improvement in form.
Emerald Army (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Sam James reported that Petra Celera (IRE), unplaced, fly leapt leaving the stalls causing the filly to be slowly away and Tristan Davidson reported that Coconut Bay (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the Going, officially described as Soft and would prefer a quicker surface.
