P. Byrnes, rider of Suain Na Draoicht trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame
G.B. Noonan, rider of Getaway Abbey trained by Shane Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up
D.F. O'Regan, rider of Exciting Oscar trained by Denis Ahern, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame
The Raceday Stewards interviewed P. Byrnes, rider of Suain Na Draoicht, trained by C.Byrnes, regarding his riding of Suain Na Draoicht who pulled up lame and his failure to dismount immediately. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he did not realise at first that his mount was lame as he thought he was stumbling on the used ground but he dismounted once he realised it. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation of P. Byrnes
