The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.E. Mullins, rider of Eternal Reward, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, concerning his riding from the second last home where he appeared to continue when he was tailed off and his mount had no more to give. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was confident his mount was able to jump the last two hurdles. He further added he knows the horse well from home and he stays well. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the jockeys explanation on this occasion
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eternal Reward, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
