Formscan By Gary Carson - CATENA ZAPATA may be worth a shot here on his return to action. The Vadamos gelding has dropped 5lb since last seen at Killarney in August when he struggled in listed company. He was a course and distance winner here in December 2020 and had some solid placed form in conditions races subsequently. He looks on a winnable mark. Chavajod has been runner-up on his last two visits and looks an obvious contender. The Toronado gelding went up 3lb for his narrow defeat in late October and doesn't have a claimer on board now so may find life a bit tougher. Punk Poet was the horse that beat Chavajod here in October and has a couple of decent runs since so is another that has to come into calculations.
