Formscan By Alan Magee - KILMEADEN was a useful handicapper on the Flat finishing off the season with a rating of 91 and is an interesting recruit to hurdles. The Donnacha O’Brien-trained gelding won over 1m4f at the Galway Festival and is versatile in terms of ground conditions having filled the runner-up spot on his latest start over 1m6f at the Listowel Festival. Bertutea was placed twice at Auteuil earlier this year and is an obvious threat, while Mode Avion represents the same ownership and was well backed when third on debut at Punchestown. Dawn Coming and Crooked Path are others to consider.
