Formscan  - Buxted Reel finished a close third off this mark at Worcester in June and showed he remains in good form when third on the Flat at Doncaster last month, so has to be considered. However, a chance can be taken on PERTEMPS DIAMOND, who has failed to land a blow in his three starts over hurdles. The six-year-old now competes in the handicap ranks for the first time and on just his second outing for the Olly Murphy yard, he could strike. Carlton is another to consider.
