Equally effective over 6f, stepping up a furlong shouldn't be an issue and another bold showing is likely. However, this is competitive and a 6lb rise demands more. With that in mind, the attractively-weighted CHARLIE MASON shades preference after hinting at a revival with a couple of recent third-placed finishes in similar company. The Thames Boatman and Gold Star Hero also make the shortlist.
