Formscan By Gary Carson - EIGHT AND BOB has really turned the corner in his last couple of runs and may be able to land the hat-trick now despite a 15lb hike since his last outing. He powered away to score by seven-lengths here in late February and having also won over three miles at the course previously this step back up two furlongs should actually suit him better now. Mormon still looks like he could progress a bit over timber and he could be the threat. He ran a nice race on his handicap debut when left to chase home Cap York, at the last, at Punchestown in February. He has gone up 3lb since but there looks scope for further improvement. Getaway John heads the weights and it was a really good run on his handicap debut to finish third to the progressive Smoking Gun at Thurles last month. Off just a pound higher mark he has to have his chance.
