Formscan By Alan Magee - BEACON EDGE has been a model of consistency this term and probably ran near a career best last time despite finding the three miles a bit far in the Stayers Hurdle at Cheltenham. Noel Meade’s charge previously recorded his third win of the season when edging out Fury Road in the Boyne Hurdle at Navan. The Bosses Oscar is a high-class staying handicapper and filled the runner-up spot for the third successive time behind Mrs Milner in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham. French Dynamite, runner-up earlier this season to Sire Du Berlais in the Lismullen Hurdle over this trip at Navan, took full advantage of a gilt-edged opportunity at Leopardstown last time.
