Formscan By Gary Carson - ROCKY’S DIAMOND should prove a cut above if taking to fences. Declan Queally’s gelding mixed it in top company last season, winning the Grade 2 Galmoy Hurdle before a fine effort to finish fourth in the Stayers Hurdle at Cheltenham. He ended the season with a mark of 154 and if he can transfer that ability to chasing he’s an exciting prospect. My Great Mate has a chase outing under his belt, finishing a fine second to King Of Kingsfield here at the festival. He’s the obvious danger. Waterford Whispers was thrown in at the deep end in Grade 1 company when last seen but is a nice horse in his own right and is another to consider.
