Formscan By Alan Magee - Inis Meain has failed to hit the heights yet over hurdles considering he’s such a high quality performer on the Flat. A Listed winner on testing ground at Limerick earlier this year, the six-year-old gelding is rated 110 in that sphere. He was strongly fancied last season for the Boylesports.com Handicap Hurdle but was in trouble when falling two out, and connections are likely to be aiming for a repeat bid in that valuable pot here next month. LEAH CLAIRE also has a three-figure rating on the Flat but is a model of consistency over hurdles as well. She progressed really well on the Flat this year and, if continuing that upward curve, appears well treated on her return to jumping. Most of these can be given a chance on figures, with course and distance winner Star Of Aragon another one to consider.
