Formscan  - On The River showed a good attitude when knuckling down well to score narrowly over a mile at Ripon recently and he must be of interest once again, for all that a 2lb rise demands a bit more of him. That said, preference is for THUNDER RUN. Karl Burke's smart-looking prospect fairly bolted up over an extended mile at Hamilton last month and the suspicion is that an opening mark of 96 might not wind up being his ceiling. Awaal is becoming attractively handicapped and a bold bid would come as no surprise.
