Formscan By Michael Graham - BOWENSONFIRE is a ground-versatile sort who is going the right way over hurdles. He hasn't been out of the first three in his last five races and accrued victories in Limerick and when last seen in Tramore. The support came for Extrapolation ahead of his runner-up berth at Ballinrobe in April. That form looks strong given the exploits of the winner and the third home since then. He wouldn't want too much rain, though. Malbay Madness is up in grade, but has earned a shot at this company as he is on a hat-trick after two victories at Kilbeggan. Portnacoo is back with Harry Smyth for whom he memorably won three races in a row at this venue last year.
