Formscan By Tom Weekes - JULY FLOWER is a good recruit to chasing and will be well schooled for today’s beginning. A Grade 1 bumper winner in France, she was subsequently placed twice at the top-level over hurdles before being bought by current connections. She scored smartly at Leopardstown last Christmas and while then nicely held at Cheltenham and Punchestown, ran satisfactorily in both high-class races. She has ground and distance in her favour. Stablemate Tareze won a Listed race last February and finished fourth at Grade 1 level last April. A winning ex-pointer, she too should compete but lacks a little of the selection’s ability. Stormalong is rated 128 over hurdles but has a little to find to win on chase debut.
