Formscan By Tom Weekes - Top weight FRENCH DYNAMITE finished third on debut for a new yard in the Kerry National, so retains plenty of his old ability. Rated 156 at his peak, he finished fourth in Cheltenham’s 2023 Ryanair Chase and, just last October, defeated grand veterans Minella Indo and Hewick to win a Grade 3. On Listowel form, he holds Punchestown festival-winner Sea Music, who finished fifth. Bottom-weight Pride Of Place is 10lb higher than when scoring at Listowel, where his rider claimed 7lb, while in-form Boston Rover competes from a career high rating. Arctic Fly disappointed in the Kerry National, when he was admittedly hampered before pulling up, and is Paul Townend’s pick over You Oughta Know, who fell in the race.
