Formscan By Tom Weekes - ARSLAN showed nice ability in a smart bumper in February and will be ready for today’s reappearance. A rare jumper and the sole point-to-point runner by top Flat sire Wootton Bassett, the selection was purchased for E180,000 following his Tralee debut and while nicely held at Fairyhouse subsequently, that race is working out well. Riskaway has good recent form and finished fourth at the Punchestown festival in May. He too has point-to-point experience and should compete. Le Kap ran well over hurdles at Clonmel recently but is vulnerable to smart types. Zeus Power debuts over jumps while reserve Drop A Threat would be a notable runner.
