Formscan By Michael Graham - TITANIUM (9) could reward each-way support in a tricky race. He has found life harder since landing a 50 grand handicap in the Curragh almost a year ago, but is dropping down the weights and competes off 61 here with Sadhbh Tormey's claim factored in. There are dangers aplenty, though. Amplitude will enjoy cut in the ground and is another coming down the weights, while Excuzio Joe performed well on his return to action in second at Bellewstown. Jp's Express wasn't beaten far in third at the Curragh this month. Flash Of Fire wasn't beaten far into fifth at Naas, while San Aer, Speckled Meadow and Lady Arwen add further spice to the mix.

She won on heavy ground here over seven furlongs two years ago so we weren't worried about the ground. I only got her two weeks before her run in the Curragh and it was her owner's (Pat Rohan, from Killaloe) plan to run in the Curragh. I didn't know much about her but she is genuine and lovely to train. Six furlongs at the Curragh was a probably a little short but seven (furlongs) is ideal. He loves that ground. He had two runs earlier in the year and we thought he was coming to himself, but the ground was good on those days. Since Galway, we’ve been waiting for a bit of soft ground for him - the softer it is the better. When I was coming down the road, and could see the floods the whole way, I was thinking we could be in business here today. Martin (Sheridan, owner) has been a big supporter of the yard and it’s great for him to have a horse like this. He’s getting a bit older and I was thinking ‘does he still have it?’. It's lovely when you have one that's set up for it,. . I told the owner two months ago that I thought he was a Galway horse. He just scraped in at the bottom of the weights. There is a big long hill up there and you need to be able to stay and have the heart for it. . We put cheekpieces on him today, just to liven him up. At Fairyhouse the last day, he kind of half went to sleep and didn't know what he was doing. . The hardest part is to keep it rolling (good run of form).
